EVERY DOG A WINNER

AT SITTINGBOURNE RGT'S FIRST RETIRED GREYHOUND SHOW 

                                 Best Dog In Show - Billy                                     Best Bitch in Show - Dee Dee   Sittingbourne RGT held it’s first retired greyhound show on Sunday 31st May at The Central Park Stadium in Sittingbourne, Kent. 100 Greyhounds and 300 people turned out to support us, the weather was superb and the event was a great success. We raised £1297.49 for the day. It was nice to see the dogs that we had homed over the last three years and some new faces as well. Every greyhound went away with a rosette and they proud to wear it as well. The best dog in show was won by Billy (Orlestone Billy) owned by Wendy Catterick The best bitch in show was won by Dee Dee (Four Grand Paws) owned by Lesley Bell But the judges commented on how well turned out every entry was and that it was difficult decide on the winners. The winners of the different classes were as follows:- Class 1 – 11 years and older Bitch – Bumble (Kylies Treasure) Class 2 – 11 years and older Dog – Lester (Kylies Genesis) Class 3 – 9 & 10 years old Bitch – Tilda  (Moyne Tilda) Class 4 – 9 & 10 years old Dog – Spot (Vintage Snow) Class 5 – 7 & 8 years old Bitch – Tina (Tina Vieri) Class 6 – 7 & 8 years old Dog – Freddie (Gentle Master) Class 7 – 5 & 6 years old Bitch – Chelsea (Life for Rent) Class 8 – 5 & 6 years old Dog – Tootsie (Precious Foot) Class 9 – 3 & 4 years old Bitch – Dee Dee (Four Grand Paws) Class 10 – 3 & 4 years old Dog – Billy (Orlestone Billy) Class 11 – Up to 3 years old Bitch - Ellie-Lou (Blakes Thunder) Class 12 – Up to 3 years old Dog – Frank (Franks A Diamond) A big THANK YOU to everyone who came along to support us on the day.
